I'm at a hipster bar

Williamsburg in Brooklyn is my own personal hell. It's filled to the brim with hipster d-bags. I went to a place called the "Trash Bar" there to see my friends' band play. If it wasn't for that I never would have stepped foot in the place. I wanted to punch 90% of the people there.

I always wondered whether Moe was cute when he was young, and what Curly looked like with hair.

I know a guy in Cobble Hill who plays all of their songs on a dulicmer -- and they sound so much more alive.

Half the Stooges are pushing up daisies, too. Although if you want to see something strange, you can find current pictures of James Williamson, the guitar player on "Raw Power." He's a tech guy now in Silicon Valley, and he's gone from long-hair, rail-thin androgynous to looking like, well, any other 60-year-old. He's now in retirement as a tech guy and out of retirement as a guitar player, player with local bands in San Jose.

James Williamson then (he's the guy who looks like Patti Smith):

My favorite bar in Athens is a bit of a hipster bar, but all the bars downtown not dominated by college students are like that to some degree. When you have that many aspiring musicians and artists around, it's probably unavoidable.
