If you visit National Parks, you are a bad person

I visited two national parks last summer, Arches and Yosemite, and was struck by just how many foreign people I saw there -- couples, families, tour groups, etc. And what that made me think about was just how little vacation time Americans have to make trips like that or even how little information Americans have about the National Parks (as the above excerpt also alludes to). I knew nothing about Arches, really, until I was there.

All the Latinos are much deeper in the parks tending to their hidden marijuana fields. We all know this.

Maybe they should turn Detroit into a national park.

You suggesting we are culturally too attached to work?

You must be one of those Godless Euro-commies.

Why is the Federal Government paying for these parks that are enjoyed mainly by white people, who could afford to pay for their own recreation activities?

We should sell the parks to private companies. They'd be in a better position to properly market them.

The money could be invested in inner city parks, benefiting the less fortunate.

  7. Sell the national parks and open it up to oil and mining interest. Only a godless commie would want the government to operate parks.

They weren't looking hard enough. C'mon, there is a Quileute Indian reservation near La Push.

Of course, they may have all turned into werewolves ... ::)

I have a side job in golf tourism and am so envious of how many furrners travel, especially Europeans. For most of us a two-week junket that includes 10 golf courses would be a trip of a lifetime; over there it's just another summer vacation.
