If You Produced TLC's Upcoming Pete Rose Reality Show....

    Pete Rose is 71. That makes me feel old.

    As for the show? Have people kick him in the balls.

    Not for gambling on baseball or lying about it, but for that insanely awful Jockey ad from the late 70s.

    No way in hell I'd watch this show, or pay for his signature at Caesars, but I would ask if he'd roll the dice for me.

    ... I would save every penny while anticipating being cancelled before the third episode.

    Same here. There were people everywhere walking by, and he was just sitting there without anyone giving him a second look. You could tell he was hating every minute of it. It didn't even register with me, until my wife whispered to me, "Um, I think that's somebody."

    The best Virgil joke was in Pro Wrestling Illustrated, I think. Columnist wrote, "I was going to buy the 'Best of Virgil' VHS, but $15 is a lot to pay for a blank tape."
