News reports say a dam a few miles from me is in trouble and if it goes we communities downstream could be in for some serious shit.

Any prayers or meditations or good thoughts would be appreciated. When I get home from work tonight I'll be moving some stuff upstairs.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

    Best of luck Tony.

I'm on vacation and fear that I might have water in my (finished) basement in a different locale when I return.

Thanks to everyone. It'll either be a very nervous or very hectic next couple of days.
