No, the '76 Ottawa Rough Riders where my former high school football mate Tony Gabriel scored the winning TD to beat the Green Riders in the Grey Cup.

    No, it's American.

    Canada and Mexico don't count

  4. The Philadelphia 76ers from 1976 to 1982...an entertaining bunch to say the least. I'd definitely fall in the Henry Bibby-Franklin Edwards mode as a backup PG to Mo Cheeks.

I didn't say every great hockey moment was Canadian.

What I said was simple: Miracle on Ice was one of the greatest moments in international hockey.

To say it had more drama than the '72 series is, well, wrong.

Canada and the Soviet Union played eight brutally contested games, four in each country.

Miracle on Ice was one game in the USA. Hardly comparable.

Canada was booed in Vancouver, lost the first game in Moscow, and came back to win each of the last three games on goals by Paul Henderson.

Sorry, but it's not even close.

Easy peasy ... any team on which I could have seen Steve Yzerman nekkid.

JR, you can kiss my ass.....

And strangly, I would have loved to be a member of the 1978 Leafs....

If Wild Thing fell any further, he could have played for the 1987 Jays....

Kind of an unconventional choice, but...

    ...still a team. What a mind-blowing moment.
