If we could get one famous person back, who would it be?

Abraham Lincoln, just to see if his ideas for Reconstruction would have worked better

And I just read a fascinating book -- called Manhunt -- about the assassination and the 12-day search for John Wilkes Booth. The details were incredible and it was written almost like a thriller.

And if I could have one person back, thinking solely of myself and not the world at large, I'd take Elvis. I'd love to see what an old Elvis in this celebrity culture would be like.

A very underrated pick. I've got to believe baseball would have been vastly different had he lived to navigate the game through the early 90's instead of that used car salesman from Milwaukee.

Besides Jackie Robinson, one that comes to mind is Jim Henson (to fix all those "wrong-sounding Muppets.")

Music division: Robert Johnson, George Gershwin, Fats Waller.

On the sports side, I will toss in Len Bias and Payne Stewart.

Not mentioned yet, but what direction would Malcom X have taken?

Mantle. I'd like to see what he would/could do with his later in life changed attitude toward things.
