If MSNBC went off the air tomorrow, what difference would it make?

One of the many observations that Alec Baldwin makes in a
wide ranging diatribe announcing that he is checking out of public
    life.

Hey, Baldwin is damn entertaining. He'll be out of the public life for slightly longer than Incognito was off Twitter. He can't stay away.

If all three cable news networks went off the air tomorrow, by Friday America's collective IQ would be up by 15 points. Those things are like sniffing glue.

Agree. They bring nothing to the party. Empty calories.

Perhaps this should inspire a thread along the lines of "Who Do You Wish Were No Longer Part Of Public Life?"

I have a Looooooooooooooooong list (some of which could be condensed) of people, politicos, celebs, quasi-celebs, etc. I wish would just leave us all alone.

And since this thread asks the question about MSNBC, let me pose this one: If Fox News went off the air tomorrow, what difference would it make?

Try not to get us locked, folks.

So Baldwin's message was "Hey everybody look at me! Now that you're looking at me I want you to quit looking at me!"

Gee covered it by saying it would not matter if all 3 networks went off the
    air. I agree.

We'd have a lot less geographic confusion, that's for sure.
