If I'm going to out myself, I'm going to do so via massive home run catch fail!

Even more pathetic is watching that grown man leave the stadium pounding the glove as if he's ready to field a ball.

    Here's the deal:

Yes, if I bring my glove to the game as an adult, I look like an idiot.

Am I willing to look like an idiot for that one in a thousand chance of catching a ball cleanly on the fly in the middle of a major league baseball game? Yes.

Bubbler will always remember that time he dropped the ball. I won't go to my grave thinking "Man, that guy in section 8 was rolling his eyes at me."

I might have missed the ball, but I still wouldn't bring my glove to the game at my age. Nothing screams pathetic like the 30-something man in his glove.

E for efffort, Bubbler. I went to two games of the Twins-Tigers series over the holiday and didn't have a ball come even close.

You at least got a shot at one.

And yes... any adult with a glove at an MLB game is an idiot.

Expect to see several FCS teams included in the poll this year that I send at 3 p.m. Monday. Wofford is my preseason No. 1. :D

I had a ball hit me on the hand at the 2005 Home Run Derby.

I seek redemption in the replays, but none is forthcoming.

    Darn you, David Ortiz!

Since Encarnacion hit it, were you going to throw it back?
