Obama's people were looking to book a place for a victory celebration Tuesday in St. Paul, Minn. So it's looking like it could be sooner than that.

Maybe so, but they'd still be voters that would ensure this country of another 4-8 years of the current crap.

Voters are like customers in a store. You won't like all of them, and you may even hate some of them for whatever reason. But if you don't convince enough of them to buy from your store, you're going to be out of business.

If Obama does win the nomination, he better learn that, and fast. He better be able to reach out to the people who supported Hillary and sweet talk them into his fold. He absolutely CANNOT give voters any reason to believe that he feels that the voters are the problem if they won't vote for him. That's at least part of what killed Gore and Kerry.

    He's not black.

I don't know how many times we have to go over this.

He's a mixed-race candidate, as much white as he is black.

The idea that these voters "support" Hillary is a charade. They supported Hillary over the black guy. Given a choice between the black guy and the Republican, a few of them will take the black guy, the rest will take the Republican, AS THEY WOULD EVEN IF HILLARY WERE THE NOMINEE.

Black America claims him as one of their own, which is all that matters in this discussion. If Hillary stole this, you woudln't be able to go to black voters and say, "Well, technically they screwed over white people just as much as black people!"

This is as relevant as a If Gravel wins... thread. Not going to happen.

If he "clinches" this week and then the superdelegates pick her at the convention...

I wouldn't advise being on the streets that night...
