I think the voters are increasingly falling behind Obama. The question is whether the party honchos (ie, the superdelegates) do likewise. And while it would certainly be a disaster for the Dems if they manuever in the back rooms to give Hillary the nomination, I don't think Hillary gives a damn,

A co-chairman of Hillary's Michigan campaign and has a line that's sure to drive a whole bunch of red state governor's up the wall:

"Superdelegates are not second-class delegates," says Joel Ferguson, who will be a superdelegate if Michigan is seated. "The real second-class delegates are the delegates that are picked in red-state caucuses that are never going to vote Democratic."

Yup, just insult and belittle entire regions of the country. A surefire strategy to winning the nomination and the presidency.

  3. So, they way I see it, the Clintons have no chance of winning a court case on Michigan and Florida -- They really don't. The party's right to set its own rules is pretty clearcut -- and they're doing their damndest to alienate politically the superdelegates, who're going to do what they damned well please.
Hence, again, everyone should relax. And folks who think the various elements of the Crazy Train on the other side are going to fall in behind St. John should not be smoking what they're smoking.

Ask some Michigan State people what they think of Ferguson's style sometime (he's a way too involved alum). This is par for the course for that clown.

Then where is the Clinton's statement that they accept the party rules as it relates to Florida and Michigan?

A clear statement would defuse the brewing contraversy

  8. You're not going to get that, Boom.
They will wait. They might sue. If they do, they'll lose.
    Life will go on.

Well, "Che" is the madame governing over the "vast...conspiracy" defense artillery.

  11. If they sue, the Democrats will win in 2008.
If they show up in Denver with the robot army marching behind them in lockstep and crows sitting upon their shoulders, the Democrats will win in 2008.

They may be thinking the same thing, in another direction, as the Hannitys and Ann Coulter are. Screw this election, let McCain alienate and wait for the midterms.

I don't care what side you're on, that kind of behavior is nothing but a vicious never-ending cycle that never takes the problems of the country seriously. It is irresesponsible behavior and those people ought to be tried for treason. BOTH sides. At least McCain has demonstrated the willingness to cross the lines and work with the other side. I even remember Obama and that guy some of you call a kook, Tom Coburn, working together on co-sponsoring bills. It's time to end this bullshit and we as citizens ought to stand up and hold this contemptuous behavior against the fire.
