There's nothing more depressing than leaving work at 5 p.m. and its already dark.

Winter is great for catching up on reading and sleeping.

I like snow. I don't like not seeing the sun for 19 consecutive days.
Even the cat fucking knows that it feels good in mind, body and spirit to sprawl out in a shaft of sunlight near the front door.
My wife's friend uses therapy lamps for seasonal affective disorder. Not a bad idea if you are a sufferer.

Winter probably wasn't so bad before the motorcar was invented. But the need to deal with that is really a drag. Today we had snow, sleet and freezing rain, a trifecta of shit, the last being by far the worst. I'd rather two feet of snow than a tenth of an inch of ice.

Love that they covered McKinnon's very thing with a Macy's star.

Also got a kick out of the little girl who was absolutely losing it while her parents argue over how to put on her boots. I'm not usually a fan of people breaking character, but her glee was contagious.

SLEDDING!!!! I still love the snow. I may be moving to South Carolina next year but will be bringing my inflatable saucers for the few times North Carolina gets snow. Though I am always ready for spring to come.

Or arriving before sunrise, then leaving after sunset.

I like whining about the winter cold more than I like whining about the summer heat.

Does that mean I like winter more?

    As usual, I’m confused.

Some places get a pretty good amount of snow like Beech Mountain and Banner Elk.
