That movie SUCKED. The ending was eminently predictable three minutes in. *SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS* Gee what are the odds the old man enamored with the old lady was ACTUALLY THE ONE IN LOVE WITH HER 100 YEARS AGO?!?!

That sucked. Sucked sucked sucked. My wife says the book is better and the ending is a surprise there. I'll take her word on it.

BYH, I knew that the woman was his wife. I just meant the very ending, man and woman entwined hand-in-hand, passing into the great beyond together. It was sad; 8 seconds worth of sad; something many of your past lovers know all too well

That part was kind of brilliant. The rest of the movie was dopey.
