The Happening, and it's not close.

Oh, and Wahlberg was shit in The Departed, too, I don't get why people thought he was any good.

There's no need to throw Zooey Deschanel under the bus.

I could stare into her eyes for days on end. Mesmerizing, as usual, in 500 Days of Summer.

Fixed. Yeah, I also wasted a couple of hours watching that mess the other night.

After reading this thread, I Tivo-ed the Happening on HBO and I thought I was watching a 90-minute Saturday Night Live sketch.
The movie would have been better if Wahlberg wasn't the lead, maybe the friend, but not as the lead.
The premise was fairly stupid, but some of the imagery was chilling. Dead people hanging from the trees. Construction workers walking to their deaths off of skyscrapers.
    That was good.
It would have also been better if they hadn't explained why it was happening. Just left it open-ended, that would have helped.

Since this was only a 10-month bump, I rate this an LOI

If you removed any attempt at explaining it, that would make it a really interesting movie.
U.S. audiences don't usually like movies that don't explain things, though. 'Cache' was a terrific movie, but I know people who hated it because of the lack of an explanation.

I liked Lady in the Water.
