I am constantly correcting those co-workers, friends, family and strangers on the street of whom commit this crime. It bothers the shit out of me, especially when it comes across in a co-workers' writing. If you've been in the business for any length of time, doesn't it stand to reason that you understand the rules of proper grammar?

But, then again, maybe not.

 

I'd rather be grammatically incorrect a touch than read like a pretentious ass.
