    I noticed that too, but I'm a Laker fan, so that jumped out at me. I still enjoy Simmons' writing and he's definitely not the only columnist I've read who's work is rife with fact errors. You'd think an editor would catch that.

    Without question he needs a fact checker or to add the baseball, football and basketball reference pages to his favorites.

    I too have seen a lotta silly errors in King's MMQB. Then again, silly errors have also been rampant in SI's print edition for a while now.

    I'm not sure I understand how this particular error happens. If you're listing the entire roster of an NBA team from two years ago, why in the world would you try to do it off the top of your head? Look that shit up.
