I didn't recall the story saying he had, or not, and I wasn't going to assume he did. You, on the other hand, are free to do so all you want.

 

That's fine, but you may want to look into who and what backs those gangs.

It's not like drug terrorists and the police/DEA/Homeland Security have a tacit understanding or anything, but the War on Drugs is a game as much as anything. Unless police departments want to start taking heavy personnel losses, they aren't going to take dead aim at the problem.

Which is my point. When do these neighborhoods start getting desperate enough because the police can't protect them and pissed off enough at their local gang members to the point where they no longer give a shit about turning the other cheek?
