Its only job is to pedal me 72 miles round trip to my job.

The car has seen times of rest and times of great use, which is now until its eventual demise.

It's all highway. I drive 36 miles in about 40-42 minutes.

I estimate about 19,500 per year on the Honda.

Those Celicas were good, fun cars. 1981 was better --- bigger engine.

The local Toyota dealer has a mint '86 Celica Supra sitting in the showroom. Me want.

I love the look of the old 280Z and RX7 of the 1980s.

There are few classic cars from the 1980s, but those are two of them, along with the Celica.

Man I loved the RX7 from the early '80s; sweet two seater.

The mid 80's Toyota Supra Celica hatchback was sweet too.

My first new car was the '88 Mustang GT hatchback. 0-70 in 2nd gear with that great 5.0 growl. Fire engine red with the whale tail in the back.

Once got pulled over for speeding and a brown Taurus drove by as the officer was writing the ticket. I asked "so if my car was brown would I have gotten pulled over?"

"You knew the answer when you bought this in fire engine red right?"
