    Very interesting.

    Former European Ice Dance champ Ekaterina Bobrova (also Russian) also announced today she is out of the World Championships for failing a test -- using the exact same drug. I can't find the name of the reporter who Tweeted it, but several Russian track and field athletes recently were caught using meldonium. The country is facing a mass suspension from the Olympics in this sport.

    Sharapova is as American as she is Russian, but a systematic doping program appears to be back in the public eye.

    To be honest, I wouldn't much care of a black, transgender Tim Tebow dating a Kardashian took a banned substance he had been taking for 10 years a month after it was banned.
