Yao Ming thinks this is a bad idea for Allen.

Looks like there might be something to this. Chinese media reports have an unnamed source with the club formerly known as Shaanxi Dongsheng Kylins confirming contract negotiations with Iverson's people are ongoing. The club was recently sold and, when done relocating from Xi'an to Foshan, will be called Foshan Lithium Energy (apparently the new owner is a battery-making company).

The CBA suits are directing media inquiries to two league PR people, both of whose cell phones are turned off.

    yeah. I agree.
I mean, why should we care if the gunshot wound is self-inflicted?

Well, Allen Iverson is in debt, just as the U.S. is in debt to China.

Maybe Allen's services will pay off some of that?
