The guys putting together this list must have had a good night at The Lumberyard.

Houston is a horrendous place to be. Between the heat, the humidity and the pollution, just breathing is a chore.

Never been as hot anywhere in my life as I was in Houston. And that was in May, before summer really gets going. Add in horrible traffic and I couldn't wait to leave. I live in South Florida, so that's saying something...

    Liked the baseball stadium though.

One good (bad?) thing about Houston is that everyone still drives 80 mph even if the traffic is bumper to bumper.

I've never been to Houston but given some of the comments I can't imagine spending a weekend there let alone living there.

An open-bar wedding or the girlies' first trip to the space center (25 miles out of the city) are the only reasons I can justify for going back to Houston.

The APSE Southwest Convention is there this year. God help them.

How about if I throw in a gift card to the Pappas restaurants?

They have some pretty good nightlife in Houston -- if you stay in the right areas.
