  1. The Watergate is always nice ... plus they have good security from what I hear.

Sure, YOUR room was great, Mr. Upgrade. :D

I can't remember what it was called either.

Hamilton Crowne Plaza. Rooms as cheap as 90 bucks. GREAT location, great place.

That is a nice location; not too far from the Convention Center, either.

Not too far from a dive bar too, if I remember right.

    They'll let anyone drink there.

Anyone ever stayed at The Tabard Inn? Looks like a cool little place.

Thanks for all the advice. I found a web site that lists a bunch of hotels near Metro stops. Been going over that just now to see if I can find anything good.

TSP, looks like I'm going to be in D.C. June 22-26. Staying at the Grand Hyatt (I think that's the convention hotel).

Indians are in town for interleague play, I believe the 22nd-24th, if anyone's interested in taking in at least one game.

How much is that running you?

$209/night, but I'm traveling with someone who's in town for the American Library Association convention at the Convention Center. So everything's paid for.

Do they have to be quiet at the Library convention?
