I got 21, but I feel really dumb for missing Rich Gannon.

There were also three guys I have never heard of: Trudeau, Millen and Philcox.

    Tecmo Bowl was like 1989.

Super Tecmo Bowl (for the Super NES) was a little later, though.

Got 22. Didn't get Philcox, Trudeau, Testaverde (!!?), Peete, whoever was starting for the Falcons and Stouffer (kept misspelling his name).

Huge assist to Super Tecmo Bowl for helping me get 17.

Tecmo Super Bowl (for NES) came out in 1991. [/nerd]

I got 22, and missed the same except I missed Stouffer and got Peete.

I still can't believe I missed O'Brien, whose HS football camp I used to go to in high school in 1991.

    I missed four:

    Hugh Millen
    Chris Chandler
    Dave Krieg
    Jack Trudeau

Just for fun, I tried to make a list of MLB's 26 Opening Day Starters from that same year. According to retrosheet, I got 13 of them. As a Toronto guy, I'm a little surprised I only went 2 for 7 in the AL East (and didn't get the Jays' guy).

There's one on sporcle that is every jersey number retired by a MLB team. It is brutal, although I'd be curious how some of the seamheads on here would do.

26 of 28. Missed Arizona and Green Bay.

I was in my prime in those days, so I remember that era better than, say, 2002.
