Yeah, holy shit...

Bush was able to duck, but that was from point blank range!

 

And he STILL has that shit-eating grin.

Eddie Murphy's mom would have nailed him.

 

Bush has sneaky quicks. Methinks he dominates those cabinet dodgeball games.

Seriously, he did a good job not to get brained. Both throws were fairly accurate.

 

He's lucky that's all it was.

I posted this on the other thread, but I'll put it here anyway.

A journalist from an Iraqi TV station (based in Cairo) stood up and threw his shoes at Bush during a press conference. Prez had some nice reflexes and ducked out of the way of both of them.

Thankfully the guy only had shoes. It was a bit scary to watch when I didn't know what the guy was doing. The CBS anchor says, "President Bush's press conference took a scary turn today ..." and then you see the guy jump up.

I hear the guy's name was Random Task.

 

I can't believe that guy was able to get both shots off before he was wrestled to the ground.

 

Style sections in tomorrow's finer newspapers should be able to tell us in detail about the shoes, yes?

 

"I said 9 1/2, not 9!"
