    Robinson hasn't proven himself to be durable enough to take unnecessary hits. And grind it out offenses weren't good enough for Lloyd Carr to beat spread teams like USC, Texas, Oregon and Appalachian State. Two steps forward, one step back.

    The record, at a Michigan, is unacceptable. The off-field NCAA issues were just an extra reason.

    USC is a spread team?

    Should have been fired last year, but got blown to the third year, through insider dealing.

    Proprietor of a worthless defense of epic proportions.

    You know he can coach, but he's going to be watched like a hawk, and it's not so easy, that way.

    It's very likely he'll never get another job as good as UM's, again.

    Pitt can't hire him. It might be a good move, but the school can't handle the bad PR right now. Maybe it doesn't care. I doubt it though...

    You think Pitt fans care about bad PR? How badly do Indiana, Miami, Minnesota and all those other schools wish they didn't fire their coaches right now?

    It's the Pitt administration. The school will not go from a guy who chpoked his baby mamma (allegedly) to a guy who put Michigan on probation.
