Hoeppner won't coach Indiana football this fall

Never interviewed him, but his attitude in trying to shepherd that program to good things brought this skeptic around.

The rumor mill has his condition even worse than what's been publicly hinted at. Its a terribly sad situation. Anyone who's ever crossed Hoeppner's path will tell you what a wonderful man he is, as I'm sure most of you already know, and his overwhelming enthusiasm appeared to have Indiana football back on the right track for the first time in a long time.
