HIMYM: Season 6

The latest Mad Magazine (the one with Glee on the cover) had a bit about final scenes from the show.
The kids are sitting on the couch:
"So why did you tell us about all the women you slept with before mom?"
"That story could have been a lot shorter."

 

Blitzgiving was OK, not nearly as funny as Slapsgiving.

They sure are making it look like Zoe is a mom candidate, aren't they?

 

I laughed plenty at all the Lost jokes.

 

Hurley screaming out the Lost numbers as a random set of numbers to call just slayed me.

The other line about him being stuck on an island also killed me.

Good episode.

 

Sepinwall pointed out Ted said he met the mother at that wedding teased to earlier in the series. Since Ted and Zoe already know each other, I guess that rules her out of the momstakes.

 

I guess I shoulda watched Lost.

Didn't even place him until I read this thread.

 

And Zoe's married. Mom is the roommate of Rachel Bilson's character. (Or am I totally confused?)

 

She could have been the roommate and recently married the older dude. But seems unlikely.

 

Didn't she already say she was very young when she married him? I know that was part of her little scam to get Ted on the record about hating his job, but I assumed that part was true.

 

Couple of nice episodes in a row before they dropped a total turd on us last night. Unfunny on every level.

 

I skipped the show last night to watch the Jets. Turns out they had a better night than this episode. A turd's turd.

 

I'm so done with the Zoey and Captain storyline. Completely through with it.
