Kentucky starts tomorrow. Would have started last week, but they delayed the season because of heat concerns.

Don't really think it worked because a sophomore at Pleasure Ridge Park died last week.

 

I'm hoping any paper that picked up the Abbot score that moved also saw this:

I'm also thinking that this is a waste of my 1000th post, but really 994 of the first 999 were bigger wastes

 

Rockhurst High School and Blue Springs South play on ESPN on Sunday morning ... should be interesting as the two teams have essentially traded off winning the Missouri Class 6 championship the last four years or so. Sadly, Blue Springs' own David Cook will not be around to sing the national anthem.

 

Private schools started here last week; a few of the public schools start tonight, the rest kick off tomorrow. I'm pumped.

 

We were already off the floor by the time the score ran, so we didn't run it. I didn't see the disregard, either. What the hell? Was somebody pranking the AP?

 

We've got a No. 1 vs. No. 2 (in San Antonio newspaper polls) tonight.
Converse Judson plays Warren, in a first (ever) meeting between the 2 schools.

I'm going as a fan. No work involved.
