I agree with spnited.

You had the choice to answer the call. You didn't. But you had time to check your voicemail, but not the time to call them back? You already had the confirmation number. All you had to do was call back and give that number.

Waiting 3 1/2 hours, when assumedly they would be closing at 5 and you had no idea how busy they'd be, seems really risky to me. And guess what? Customer service blows now. No one's hiring. You're going to be dealing with one overworked person. They can't drop everything for you.

A 56-minute hold or whatever? OK, excessive. But to go on a rant like that, when it could have been avoided any one of 20 different ways, seems a bit off-kilter.
