I think Herm's a lousy coach, but to say he'll never coach in a playoff game is absolutely wrong. He's already coached four playoff games with the Jets and Chiefs.

    Fuck em all.

    Bring in Glanville.

    Jack Pardee as the O.C.

    Vermeil as your D.C.

Win or lose every damn game will be 58-50.

I meant prospectively. They don't make the playoffs next season and Peterson is fired, the new GM comes in, gives Herm another year to fail, and Herm lives down to expectations and the chiefs don't make the playoffs at the conclusion of the '09 season. Herm is fired and doesn't get another HC job in the NFL.

    Playoff Herm....

Takes a knee to lose a yard intentionally to set up the decisive Brien kick in the Pittsburgh wind tunnel.

Dick Vermeil's high-flying offense had as many playoff appearances and playoff wins as Herm Edwards' low-flying offense.

    He can be very charming.

If the scorn/rebuke of Landry and Shula couldn't destroy Hackett's career 20 years ago, then it was never going to be destroyed.
