Absolutely brilliant. Mr. Rogers fighting Julia Child.

I would shit if "The Young and the Wrestling" was out there somewhere. I've been all over YouTube but can't find it.

  3. "The Merv Griffin/Griffith Show" was nice, too. With special guests Liberace and Yassir Arafat.

And "The Sammy Maudlin Show" was in a class by itself.

    Absolutely love SCTV.

We'll have an inside look at the fascinating world of terrorism. Yassir Arafat is with us!

Ooooh! Show us your lining, Yassir!

And for your pleasure, "Benny Hill Street Blues"

O'Hara is so hot to me.

  7. As a comic, in all seriousness, this cracks me up every time.

  8. Dave Thomas impersonating Fred Travalena impersonating Jim Nabors is not to be missed.

    Absolutely. :D

BTW, who shot Guy Caballero? ;)

And Sammy Mauldin was brilliant. What was the name of his sychophantic McMahan-esque cohort? I'm blanking here.

    The immortal Johnny LaRue.

Played by the mortal John Candy.

Boy, I wish John Candy was still around.

SCTV was great at odd ways of incorporating musical guests. The above version of Chilliwack's "My Girl (Gone Gone Gone)" is not one of those.

Neither was this -- "Gordon Lightfoot Sings Every Song Ever Written"

EDIT: Jeez, I'm going to up all night going through this stuff. MONDAY NIGHT CURLING!
