Heading to Vegas this weekend. I love putting a few coins on some games out there, tend to do ok. My worst habit, however, is messing around with the parlay cards. Save the lectures.....can't help myself ;D I feel like I have a pretty good idea of how the gague the numbers from my region (Big Ten and MAC), maybe some of you can give my some ideas from their region. Particularly interested in the Saturday matchups, do like to fool with the pros, much.

So, anyone see any tempting numbers out there?

Of course, if this isn't the sort of thing we should be discussing on the board....please feel free to lock it up!

    Auburn -6
    Northwestern +5.5
    Okla State +5.5
    Oklahoma -3

This week's NFL lines blow. Nothing but 3s.

    NFL always scares me.

Can't decide whether I really like Northwestern. I KNOW that Sparty is going to sh*t the bed, at some point. Once they start, they may never stop. But Northwestern just isn't very good, record aside. Just can't quite get my head wrapped around that one.

LSU & OK State were both on my list. Good to see someone else like those.

I don't like LSU in that game. I like Auburn.

MSU-Northwestern dropped from 7 to 5.5 fast. Is it wiseguy money or the public?

That's wiseguy money. Public $$ can't make a line move like that this early.

1.5 points is a huge move. They jumped right on that one when they saw it.

Both, sorta. There's a very, VERY popular tout sheet out there which
features an Underdog of the Week. This week, it's Northwestern.
Sheet gains wide distribution on Tuesday, which (in NO coincidence)
was the date of the line move. This specific Underdog of the Week release
moves prices 1 - 1 1/2 points most weeks, like clockwork. There you go.

How has the Underdog of the Week performed so far?

    NO-NO-NO-

Not Northwestern. Chicago is the home to the most MSU alumni. Even more than East Lansing, Lansing and Detroit. Seriously, get away from Northwestern. MSU could have a homefield advantage. THey did two years ago. Place was packed with green.
