    From a press release:
NEW YORK and DENVER, Aug. 8, 2008—Hearst Corporation announced today
that it has acquired the Connecticut Post (Bridgeport, Conn.) and
www.ConnPost.com, including seven non-daily newspapers, from
MediaNews Group, Inc. The announcement was made jointly by George B.
Irish, president of Hearst Newspapers, and Joseph (Jody) Lodovic IV,
president of MediaNews Group. Terms were not disclosed.

Hearst seems to be the only buyers in a sellers market. Thoughts? What kind of place is Hearst?
