    Saw a story on the local TV news tonight about some kid who was attending college prep school down in the SoCal desert and drove away from school with two friends and slammed into a tree. All three died. The story focused on family and friends remembering the girl, little on the crash, which was described as a "freak accident." No weather issues, but somehow a VW Jetta just slams into a tree? Anybody think tv and print go heavy on the hearts and flowers but back away from stories of irresponsible teens that play a role in their own deaths?
