Have they returned?

I got to thinking while seeing the lame-ass, edited version of "From Dusk Til Dawn" on TNT this weekend ... Have slasher flicks made a sudden return in recent years?

I remember growing up with them in the 80s. Now, if you think about it, you've had the "Saw" movies, "Hostel", the remake of "Dawn of the Dead", "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "The Hills Have Eyes" just to name a few.

    Anyone agree? Disagree?

By the way - what's your favorite slasher flic of all-time? I got to say I really enjoy "House of 1000 Corpses" and "Motel Hell"

"The Devil's Rejects" is the quasi-sequel to "House of 1,000 Corpses" and it is 1,000 times better than the first one ... as far as slasher films go.
