Hatfields and McCoys (History Channel)

    If you missed it, the miniseries is now airing on Lifetime. Because that makes sense.

    I work with a Hatfield, and yes, he is a real Hatfield.

    He said he watched it and it was pretty darn true to what actually happened, and he liked the series.

    Take that for what its worth, but I may watch it knowing only a little bit of Hollywood was added to it.

    I finished watching the miniseries last night and really enjoyed it - other than some of the constant need to have background music.

    I read an article beforehand about how accurate it was (mostly, although it pointed out the flaws. Unfortunately, I can't find that article now). However, I don't expect anything Hollywood does to be totally accurate. I'm surprised when they even get it close.

    I did find this one article with reaction from a relative of Bad Frank Phillips, but his conclusions about his great-grandparents isn't what I saw on the show.
