Four TV "news" stations in my town. All four had live trucks parked at one of the three big box bookstores. They started at 5 and none of them left until after midnight, so that they could get footage of people buying the book.
Was my town unusual or was this pretty par for the course everywhere?

There were two of the four at Barnes and Noble, plus our photographer.

We had a photographer and a reporter there from 10 p.m. to midnight. I believe two of the four TV stations were there as well.

There is no question what that rising feeling in my throat is.
