I hate those types of sentences, but every place has a different style rule on them. The strictest style guides (not found in newspapers) would probably say you need either comma+conjunction or semicolon before "the girl."

I used to get yelled at by copy editors in the 1980s for using win like that. Guess times have changed.

No love for a no-smoking sign on your cigarette break?

OK, I do wonder this: would it be ironic if it rained on Alanis' wedding day, or if she got a fly in her Chardonnay?

That's not easy to remember. It also isn't ironic.

That would be like saying Florida playing in the Sugar Bowl by virtue of finishing second in the SEC East and sitting out last week would be ironic. It isn't ironic. It is the sign of a flawed system.

I have to admit, I have no idea what a game of "Sheep" is.

I am not sure I understand this post, but I think it's an insult.

I was referring not to the game copperpot manages, but to your collaboration with Care Bear.

It is irony that a song about irony has no irony in it.
What's not ironic, is that people believe all that shit is irony.

So maybe Alanis is the greatest irony troll ever ...
