Three things stood out to me in episode 1

    1. Little PacMan Jones catching a punt while holding five other footballs

    2. Marion Barber coldcocking a linebacker with a block

    3. Man, it is so obvious that Jason Garrett is head coach material

Oh, as if he needed to reaffirm this, what a grandstanding putz Jerry Jones is.

My kids are really pissed they can't watch this up here.

We normally see HBO shows on The Movie Network but they didn't pick it up.

When HBO did their reality show on the Baltimore Ravens training camp right after they won the Super Bowl, I saw a clip in which Jack Del Rio was talking about a defensive back's performance (he was linebackers coach at the time) and thought he'd make a good defensive coordinator.

Little did I know he'd become Jacksonville's head coach almost before I knew it.

Jack Del Rio spent a whole year as the defensive coordinator of the Carolina Panthers before Jacksonville tabbed him to run its show. Del Rio took a defense that stunk - ranked either last or next-to-last - and took it to No. 2. In one season.

Understanding that Julius Peppers makes a difference, the defense was otherwise the same bunch that George Seifert and his merry band couldn't get to do anything (though keeping the linebackers coach didn't hurt :)).

He's not a disaster, but Mike Trgovac hasn't impressed a fraction as much as Del Rio did.

I don't have HBO either. Is it available on line?

Pac-Man did it the first time and then Crayton matched it. They both ended up with 6.

And for my money, that was a damn good first installment. Yep, you know I'm a Cowboys fan, but that was a really good show and had some classic moments.

The Barber block on second-year LB Tyson Smith was just vicious.

The practical joke on Felix Jones was great.

The on-field rivalry of Pacman and TO is compelling stuff

    The rookie hazing was hilarious

I learned that Keon Lattimore is too dumb to learn the playbook
