    Happy Thanksgiving, members and moderators.
May the bountiful things in life be yours in abundance.
Not only at Thanksgiving but every day of the year.

I was expecting a thread about this woman:

Good thing she wasn't born on Black Friday.

The night before Thanksgiving ranks above St. Patrick's Day and New Year's Eve for drunk driving arrests.
Call a cab if you've been drinking.

One way I can tell I'm an old fart is that I have no desire to go out on Thanksgiving Eve. BTW, for reasons known to no one, Labor Day weekend is usually the event with the most DWIs in Massachusetts.

    Thanks for the well-wished 3OF.

But am I the only one mildly outraged that retailers are opening for "Black Friday" sales on Thanksgiving now?

I was planning on being there to buy a PS4.
    Wife vetoed that immediately.
I look forward to reading the shopworn "Black Friday" color piece. Not.

Wow! I would never have suspected that...

My "nights before Thanksgiving" used to be consumed sitting in traffic heading to my parents' house for the Thursday chow-down. Lately, it has been consumed preparing to be the host for Thursday chow-downs. I never suspected that folks would be tanking up before hitting the overcrowded highways.
