Happy Spring!!!

Spring? Where? It's supposed to snow 8-14 inches here tomorrow.

 

What is this spring you are talking about?

 

I know, I know, some of you are still freezing and some of you are up to your butts in rain. But, spring is the best time of year!

Things are greening up. Warm weather is on it's way.

The weather is as good as it is in fall and things aren't going to die in a couple of weeks.

As much as I try to deny it, life is good.

 

It's the first day of spring and I forgot to get my free Italian Ice at Rita's.
Drove past one on my way to work, saw the long line and then remembered they always do the giveaway on the first day of spring.

 

I love spring as much as the next person.

But the weather the last few weeks here has been absolutely bat-shit crazy. We've gone from tornadoes (early February), to rain (mid-February), snow (late February), more rain (early March), a mini-blizzard (mid-March) to floods (this week).

I'm ready for warmer weather.

 

Warm weather is on the way? Shit, it's been in the mid to upper 70s the past month here. Supposed to be 81 tomorrow.
