    The Vikings, who also happened to be Knight Templars, were here long before Columbus. Columbus knew because he was a Knight Templar, too. They left a calling card:

    Many Scandinavian-Americans hold it as an article of faith, or at least reason enough to ignore Columbus Day: A rock plucked from roots of a tree in Minnesota in 1898 proves the Vikings were here first.

    Or maybe a Scandinavian farmer got bored and decided to have some fun.
