Happy birthday, Rosie! I'm headed to my room posthaste.

 

She was standing at the load-in when the trucks rolled up
She was sniffing all around like a half-grown female pup
She wasn't hard to talk to, looked like she had nowhere to go
So I gave her a pass so she could get in to see the show.

Happy birthday to a fellow Vikings fan. By the way, I hope that I've broken the jinx of my favorite teams when it comes to attending a sporting event in the Phoenix area.

I attended last night's NLCS game (Rockies baseball fan here) and seeing them beat the Dbacks enabled me to have just a little better feeling about this place as the last time I was here for a sporting event, a certain football game, things did not go well.

I hope you sing your heart out on your birthday and, better yet, I hope the Vikings crush the Bears on Sunday and present you with the game ball.
