Per the fallout shelter, one of the good guys is celebrating a birthday!

Hope you have a great one!

And in your honor the new season comes out next week!

    Happy Birthday, homeboy!

  9. Thanks a lot, all. It's the big 3-0, exactly a week after my compadre Double Down, no less.

It's been a good day. Started it with signs and balloons festooned about and outside the house by the Future Missus Omar, then we had homemade fudge marble cake at mom and dad's (because what better day to have cake for breakfast?). Then the four of us went out to a fine local steakhouse where the waiter informed me I should've gotten a bigger steak with shrimp and a crabcake since someone else is buying. After that the four of us went to see Walk Hard, which was pretty damn funny. I also learned that, no matter how old you are, seeing a movie with full frontal nudity while your mother is two seats away from you... kids, that's awkward no matter how old you are.

I guess some things just are timeless.

But hey, at least Grandma wasn't there. Or my future mother-in-law.

    Now I'm off to work.
