It's the same thing with Jennifer Aniston. Obviously, she's gorgeous, much hotter than Gwyneth, IMO, but she comes across as such a bitch that it makes people not like her. She was great in "We're the Millers" though, which is one of very few things since Friends that I've liked her in.

 

I thought it was Heigl who had that black mark against her.

 

OTHer examples are Madeleine Stowe and Andie McDowell.
My first girlfriend thought these two were hot.
Fart less than half-heartedly agreed. They just did not exude much sex appeal to me.
Paltrow looks like the kind of partner who would micromanage a guy's life to death.

I'm with you on Andie McDowell. I remember seeing her in one of those cosmetics ads she did and asking, "Is she supposed to be beautiful or something?"

I have, however, always been on board with Julia Roberts, going all the way back to the Mystic Pizza days.

 

To Fart, there is nothing sexier than a cute or attractive woman, within medium ranges, who knows innately she's hot and doesn't feel a need to prove it to a damned soul.
Not like Gweyneth Paltrow.
I remember Paltrow trying to make some sort of social statement after that fat girl movie she made years ago. It rang as hollow as a campaign speech.
