Gunman stopped at Georgia school

    Surprised (although maybe not, considering how this is likely to end) that there hasn't been a thread on this yet.
    Gunman armed with an AK-47 walked into an elementary school in DeKalb County, Ga., and barricaded himself in the office. He took a hostage and exchanged shots with police, but surrendered later on.
    Amazingly, no one was injured.

    Glad there was an NRA-trained good guy with a gun on hand to stop him.

    This is about 15 miles from my office. Was a little surreal seeing the live streams of coverage. Just glad everyone was OK.

    Just heard part of the 911 call on MSNBC.

    The administrator that dealt with him was incredible.

    Police Departments across the country should be lining up to offer this woman a lot of money to be a hostage negotiator.
