Only one serious omission at first glance: Steve Hackett. And he can be represented either solo ("Spectral Mornings" would do nicely) or with Genesis ("Blood On the Rooftops" or "Fountain of Salmacis")

 

Dick Dale and Lamb of God in the same list. Nice.

 

"Tattooed Love Boys" features one of the all-time great guitar solos, touching on pretty much every great British axe guy. Brilliant stuff....
