Grinnell didn't use its normal substitution pattern so one of their guys went for 89 in a 145-97 victory (Phil Mushnick has his Tuesday column). Broke the D3 record of 77, set by a...Grinnell player.

Isn't Grinnell the team that runs the Paul Westhead offense on steroids?

They must be fun to watch.

Actually I think they run a lot of Princeton's stuff. Work the ball around the perimeter, run the shot clock then look for the backdoor cut...

They are an absolute trip to watch. I would strongly, STRONGLY recommend -- if they're within 100 miles of a school within your area -- driving over to check them out.

They are the Westhead Nuggets, except they are usually .500 or better. Even when teams try and play "slow down", the games are 90-84.
