Don't forget the Holy Roller. And dropping Madden after the Super Bowl victory. Or George Blanda in 1970.

Cleveland Indians - Ken Keltner's three-run home run in the fourth inning of the 1948 American League one-game play-in game.

Yep, the franchise has been that pitiful that a home run in the fourth inning is the greatest moment.

The only other things that I could think is Bob Feller throwing a no-hitter on opening day in 1940, Tony Fernandez's home run off Armando Benitez in the 1997 ALCS or Tony Pena's Game 1 of the ALDS against the Red Sox.

Indians: Ten Cent beer night? Actually, is that the greatest night in Ohio sports history?

But in the case of us Saints fans, Porter's pick-6 in SB 44 was indeed the greatest moment in their history.

Agree on the Saints "moment." I wasn't being sarcastic.

A few more Raiders moments: Ghost to the Post, Stabler running it in against the Patriots, finally beating the Steelers to make SB XI might have been more exhilarating than winning the SB and hell - returning to Oakland (never been done before).

The White Sox trumped it with Disco Demolition night, but dime brewski business was
    a wondrous sight to behold.

What about Jake Taylor's called shot-turned-bunt single that drove in Willie Mays Hayes from second base to clinch the AL East title?

George Blanda in 1970 was one of the great sustained dramas of the league, during that era. Every week was, "Can you top this?" A terrible decision by Halas to get rid of
GB, back in the day. George had guys he didn't like, due to certain character issues,
and Layne and Blanda were two of them, but how Halas dumped those two and held
on to Rick Casares was one of the great mysteries of league existence.

Unfortunately, it also brings us back around to thoughts of clownshows like Joe Morgan and the thick smugness of that franchise, at the time.

Game 7 of '55 rakes in that pot. Next.

Not as good as Ricky Vaughn striking out Clu Haywood. Haywood had already hit two home runs off of Vaughn earlier in the season.
