The Clarksdale Press Register, an award-winning newspaper, located in the heart of blues country, is seeking an energized sports editor. The sports editor will be in charge of a junior college, two high schools and several elementary schools in Coahoma County, as well as other sports activities in the area. The sports editor will also be responsible for a weekly Outdoor Page and Agriculture Page. The candidate should be knowledgeable of QuarkXpress, as well as Photoshop, and capable of designing a section, as well as writing for it. Located in Clarksdale, Miss., this prize winning newspaper covers a dynamic area that is in the heart of the Mississippi Delta — at the Crossroads of the Blues. The newspaper is afternoon delivered, Tuesday through Friday — morning delivered on Sunday. Send resumes to mfontenot@pressregister.com.

And with the state of this industry, there are plenty of people right now trying to hurry to Kinko's to get a packet put together and beat the rush. Sad.

What sucks harder, covering elementary school sports or doing the weekly Ag page?

Some writers like covering agriculture... no one likes covering elementary school sports

Yeah, dude. I'm all over this one.
You seriously don't have anything better to do with your time than antagonize people on a message board all day long?

Just trying to help you out, Pringle. Don't want you lugging all those dimes to the copy machine if you don't have to.
