I'm no expert on the matters involving this, but from what I gather from some techie friends there is some sort of DNS hacking/virus stuff going on.

Here's what one guy suggested to me if you are having problems with Google.

The following is google's IP: 74.125.45.100

Put that in your browser, if Google comes up you might have a problem.

From there the suggestion is to go to your start menu, go to run, type cmd in the box.

Then some old school DOS for ya... type the following commands:

    ipconfig /renew all

    ipconfig /flushdns

It's also suggested that you power off your modem and routers. Give it a few minutes and power them up again.

OK, so I got google when I did that. I did the DOS part and when I typed in the "renew all" I got this message:

    Um...?

OK, I should clarify that you should see that link under all circumstances if you have a good Internet connection. It's merely a test link for those who are having trouble with google.com.

In other words, if you can't see google.com and you can see the IP link, then you might have a problem.

If everything is running smoothly IJAG, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

What if you can get on a site and these guys can't and it's just them?
